snowstorms, school closings and cold weather have defined february for us. we have experienced sort of a summer break in the winter as we have hardly been in school. which means we won't have much of a summer.

the boys have enjoyed the lazy days of sleeping in, staying up late, manhunt, basketball, movies and some reading. and lots of food…lots. these boys can eat. and the dogs have enjoyed the company, the long walks and even the trash when we are not home.

we even took advantage of the conditions and spent a long weekend skiing at the kellers in blue knob, pennsylvania. good family and friends, good food and exercise were a nice change of scenery and just what we needed during these long months of cold.
