monday musings

a few things that caught my eye this week...

top left:  Manchego & Blackberries on sourdough, quick bites for a last minute get together.

top right:  Madewell slim boyjean rip and repair edition.  Now if I could only get my hips to look like that.

bottom left:  Fog.  Always a favorite.

bottom middle:  With a tiny kitchen, I always love a beautiful way to display.

bottom right:  No matter the season, this always looks inviting.  Go.

And I loved this article.  Although, we do not have these play spaces, I feel blessed to live in an environment where my children are able to play outside, together with neighbors and friends, and create spaces to play, invent and make up games, and learn life skills on their own, among peers, that will make them stronger and more independent.  It is not always appealing aesthetically, and I am sure my neighbors think my yard is an eyesore, as is the treehouse being built in the backyard without any design plans; I have to trust that one day I will have grass to mow, a litter free yard and a old treehouse to look out my kitchen window and remember that this time was short lived and I will long for these days.

Here is a short video from the article.

Happy Monday.
